Villa La Milana is part of a unique project with four spectacular properties, which gives all owners absolute privacy, but with the benefits of belonging to an exclusive community. The project is located next to the municipality of Santa Maria, in the Sierra de Tramuntana. Palma city center is just a short drive away and you can also easily get to any other part of Mallorca from here. Designed by the Barcelona-based architectural studio Baas, Casa Falcó was originally created as a house that would blend into the landscape and give life to the extraordinary nature that surrounds it. Its low, one-story profile aligns with the contours of the land with the roof virtually simulating the ground’s slope, with some parts of the building even sinking slightly into the hillside. You reach the house from its back side so as not to invade the privileged view that takes place in front of the house.

The home has three basic zones: the sleeping areas, the living room and the kitchen area. In this way, each zone can exist independently, which increases the level
of comfort for its users and with patios inspired by typical Mallorcan architecture between each zone. Great focus has been placed on the common living room, with an impressive fireplace in the middle, which separates the living room from the dining room. This space, just like the other zones, opens onto the garden and pool with stunning views of the beautiful countryside.

La MIlana has been created using materials that are close at hand, ie with stone from the plot itself, local ceramics for ceilings and floors, bathrooms with traditional hydraulic tiles made on the island, local wood, and outdoor floors of cement washed with stones which are typical of the area.
