La Zenia is the area for those who want to be in the middle of the action and within walking distance of everything you might need during your stay in Spain. The border between Playa Flamenca and La Zenia is often difficult to pinpoint, as the areas merge into each other. Here you have life all year round with many good restaurants, bars and not least the Zenia Boulevard shopping center with its enormous selection of 150 stores, several activities for children and a solid selection of restaurants. The location is privileged with walking distance to several lovely sandy beaches such as La Zenia Beach and Cala Capitán, and you are also close to green areas and several golf courses, including Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Las Colinas.
If you want to live really close to the beach, you should take a closer look at the old parts of La Zenia on the beach side of the 332. Here the houses are characterized by Spanish charm and detached houses are mixed with apartments and bungalows. On the other side of the road is the center with slightly newer housing and more terraced house variants. In recent years, a lot of new construction has also been added.
