Here you are close to everything you need and the area has many permanent residents and a good mix of nationalities. Lomas de Cabo Roig has grown rapidly in recent years with a lot of newly produced homes and a new shopping center with restaurants, grocery stores and other services. Most of the homes have nice views of the Mediterranean Sea and La Manga del Mar Menor and there are many green areas around.
Inland towards Villamartin you have a solid selection of bars and restaurants where the La Fuente shopping center is located about 2 km in which is well visited, regardless of the time of year. Towards the sea you will find the Cabo Roig strip which offers good nightlife and Campoamor stands for the slightly more luxurious eateries, with several beach clubs in the summer.
Within a radius of 5 km there are 4 fine 18-hole golf courses; Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and Las Colinas, all of which are of a good standard.
