Strategically located Punta Prima is located in the southern part of the Costa Blanca, just south of Torrevieja and only 40 minutes from Alicante airport. From here you are close to everything - it is right in between with cycling distance to both Torrevieja town and the nearby areas of Playa Flamenca and La Zenia. Just like many other urbanisations along the coast, Punta Prima extends from the sea a few kilometres inland and consists of several residential areas that have emerged since the 1970s and are still being built here and the area has a good mix of parks, local shopping centres, many good restaurants with different cuisines, cafes etc.
The coastal area offers nice walks along the varied coastline of long beaches, coves and rocky areas. If hunger creeps up along the promenade, be sure to visit Restaurante Nautilus and Restaurante Punta Prima which give you the opportunity to enjoy a meal right next to the Mediterranean Sea.
