In the summertime, Torreblanca and La Mata also attract Spaniards from within the country who flee the heat - the number of inhabitants increases significantly.

Here you will still find relatively affordable new production, with excellent communications into the city.
Much of the charm of what is another of the best areas of Torrevieja is its impressive surroundings, with the La Mata Natural Park. A space surrounded by the saltwater lake formed by the salt flats. The Molino del Agua park also stands out. This area is not as populated as Torrevieja. Tall buildings have not been built either. It communicates with Torrevieja through an urban bus.
