About the Area

Nueva Andalucia is located in the municipality of Marbella and is one of the coast's most popular areas.

The area is also called the golf valley, as some of the coast's most famous golf courses are located here, e.g. Los Naranjos Golf Club, Real Club de Golf Las Brisas and Aloha Golf Club. Furthermore, there are reputable international schools, which also includes the Swedish School Marbella. The proximity to the luxury port of Puerto Banus has also contributed to making the area very popular.

Nueva Andalucia is a large residential area with a shopping center, Centro Plaza, which is a popular meeting place. There are restaurants, shops, bars, offices and gyms. It is also around Centro Plaza that the market is held every Saturday and there you can find clothes, shoes, fruit, vegetables, plants etc.

Nueva Andalucia is also known as a center for the Swedish colony because so many Swedes live here all year round. There are also Swedish grocery stores and restaurants.

It takes about 45 minutes by car to Malaga airport.
