There are also well-reputed international schools, including the Swedish School of Marbella. The proximity to the luxury port of Puerto Banus has also contributed to making the area very popular.
Nueva Andalucia is a large residential area with a shopping center, Centro Plaza, which is a popular meeting place. There are restaurants, shops, bars, offices and a gym.
