Higueron is located between the two municipalities of Benalmadena and Fuengirola just above Carvajal.
It is a residential area that has been built up over 20 years, and consists of apartments, terraced houses and villas. Centrally located in the area you will find the coast's best training facility, which also won the award as the best sports club in Spain 2018.
In the area you will also find Hilton, Nagomi spa and a number of restaurants such as Sollo with chef Diego Gallegos who has been awarded a Michelin star.
The beach at Carvajal is nice and has a long promenade that goes all the way to Fuengirola. At Carvajal there is also a train station that takes you directly to the airport and the center of Malaga.
