Higueron is located between the two municipalities of Benalmadena and Fuengirola just above Carvajal.
It is a residential area that has been built up over 20 years, and consists of apartments, townhouses and villas. Centrally located in the area you will find the best training facility on the coast, which also won the award for the best sports club in Spain in 2018.
In the area you will also find Hilton, Nagomi spa and a number of restaurants, such as Sollo with chef Diego Gallegos, who has been awarded a Michelin star.
The beach at Carvajal is nice and has a long promenade that goes all the way to Fuengirola. There is also a train station at Carvajal that takes you directly to the airport and Malaga city center.
It takes about 10 minutes by car to Malaga airport.
